Frequently Asked Questions

Find answers to the most common questions about our training courses.

How long are the certificates valid?

CPR certifications (HLTAID009) are valid for 12 months from the date of issue. First Aid certifications (HLTAID011 and HLTAID012) are valid for 3 years from the date of issue. It's recommended to refresh your CPR skills annually even if your First Aid certification is still valid.

What should I wear to the training?

Please wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely, as the training involves practical components including getting down on the floor for CPR practice. Closed-toe shoes are recommended. Skirts and dresses are not ideal for the physical aspects of the training.

Do I need to complete pre-course study?

Yes, all courses require pre-course online theory which must be completed before attending the face-to-face practical session. Once you register, you'll receive access to our online learning portal where you can complete the theory component at your own pace.

What if I have a medical condition that prevents me from performing CPR?

If you have a medical condition that prevents you from performing certain aspects of CPR or first aid, please inform us before booking. In most cases, we can make reasonable accommodations. You may still be able to complete the course by demonstrating your knowledge and performing modified techniques where possible.

How do I get my certificate after completing the course?

Once you've successfully completed both the theory and practical components of your course, a digital certificate will be emailed to you within 24-48 hours. You can also access and download your certificate from your account on our online portal.

Are your courses nationally recognised?

Yes, all our courses are nationally recognised and comply with the Australian Quality Training Framework. Our certifications are recognised throughout Australia and meet workplace and regulatory requirements across all states and territories.
