HLTAID012 certificates are valid for 3 years from the date of issue. We recommend refreshing your skills regularly to stay confident with child and infant response techniques.
Please wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely, as the training involves practical components including getting down on the floor for hands-on first aid practice. Closed-toe shoes are recommended.
Yes, all courses require pre-course online theory which must be completed before attending the face-to-face practical session. Once you register, you'll receive access to our online learning portal where you can complete the theory component at your own pace.
If you have a medical condition that prevents you from performing certain practical components, please inform us before booking. In most cases, we can make reasonable accommodations so you can still demonstrate your knowledge.
Once you've successfully completed both the theory and practical components of your course, a digital certificate will be emailed to you within 24-48 hours. You can also access and download your certificate from your account on our online portal.
